Menus: Jan 21 - Feb 4
Tentatively, of course. I'll post what was really done at the end of the week ;o):
Week #1:
Saturday: Honey BBQ Meatloaf (5 pts), mashed potatoes (2 pts), sugar free Jell-O (0pts)
Snacks: creamy black bean dip (1/4 C= 2 pts); celery & carrots; steamed asparagus (0 pts)
Sunday (lunch and dinner): White bean chicken stew (Dec05 pg53; 1C = 4 pts)
Cheese quesadillas (need point value)
Snacks: creamy black bean dip (1/4 C= 2 pts); celery & carrots
Monday: Angel Hair Shrimp bake (06 pg180, 5 pts)
Tuesday: Leftovers
Wednesday: Zesty Soup (turkey) (06 pg41; 4 pts) in the slow cooker
Thursday: (my lunch): baked salmon with green beans (4 pts) dinner: Leftovers & snacks
Friday: Pizza night (Canadian bacon (aka ham) and pineapple) - kids make dinner- I’m having a smart ones pizza, 6 pts I think, gotta double check)
Week #2:
Saturday: Stir fry beef and broccoli (5 pts)
Sunday (January 29): Open faced turkey tacos (06 pg82; 5 pts) & Glazed fruit bowl (06 pg 165; ¾ C = 1 pt)
Monday: Turkey meatball subs (06 pg42; 6 pts); & leftover fruit
Tuesday: pizza at home- ground beef and pineapple; (I’m eating a smart ones pizza)
Wednesday: Beef taco lasagna (make ahead meal: 06 pg70; 6 pts)
Thursday: grilled chicken, mac & chz and red potatoes (points to be counted)
Friday: Two meat spaghetti / sauce (06 pg70 8 pts)
Saturday: Spiced beef roast (06 pg72; 6 pts); applesauce cake (05 pg 121; 3 pts); Snacks TBD
